Supervisory & Administrative Staff
Kiya is the owner of ASPB and she has been in this field since 2002. She has two masters degrees in developmental psychology and clinical psychology. She is currently a BCBA, Licensed Professional Counselor, and child developmental specialist through early intervention. She passionate about helping children and families, and educating other professionals about best practice, family systems, and evidence-based interventions. She is also a mother and enjoys practicing and teaching yoga regularly.
Jessica is the clinical director of ASPB Therapy Pathways. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis with an emphasis in child development and autism spectrum disorder. She is also a state credentialed developmental therapist and behavior analyst, providing behavioral and developmental services for children who participate in the Early Intervention program. As the clinical director, Jessica oversees all clinical staff.
Sara is on the ASPB supervisory team. She holds an MS in Clinical Psychology from Binghamton University and received her BCBA in 2015. She has approximately 10 years of experience working with children diagnosed with autism in centers, schools, and home-based programs. Sara has experience working with a wide range of clients – from high functioning children with autism to clients with very challenging behaviors.
Shy is a BCBA with a degree in Applied Behavior Analysis and emphasis in autism from Ball State University. She holds certificates in ABA and Autism, and is credentialed in the Illinois Early Intervention program to support children birth to three years and their families. Shy has many years of experience working with children in settings such as schools, clinics, home based programs, and early development centers. She is always looking to further her knowledge to assist children and families.
Elizabeth is a speech pathologist who has her Masters of Science in Communication Disorders from Governor’s State University. She has 20+ years of experience working with children experiencing a variety of speech and language delays and diagnoses. She has worked in a variety of settings including clinic, school setting and Early Intervention.
Julie is a registered occupational therapist with over 20 years experience in pediatrics. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her masters of occupational therapy from Midwestern University. She has experience in the evaluation and treatment of a variety of pediatric diagnoses, with emphasis on sensory processing concerns. She has also worked in a variety of settings, including clinical, school and early intervention.
Christina is a Lead ABA Technician. She has her masters in child development from Erikson Institute, specializing in infancy, administration, and new language learners. She has been working as an ABA therapist since 2014, and has worked with a wide age range. Christina is also a state credentialed developmental therapist, working with children who participate in the Early Intervention program. Christina plans to get her BCBA to continue her education and expand her knowledge.
Shauna is a Lead ABA Technician at ASPB. She has been a Registered Behavior Technician since 2016 and with ASPB since 2014. She holds a BS in Family and Individual Development from Northern Illinois University. Shauna will start her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis with an emphasis in Autism in the spring of 2020. After her Masters, she plans to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
Jennifer has been with ASPB for 5 years. She came to us with a background in software training and documentation working with the insurance industry. She began her work life, years ago in high school, working with children with special needs. She received her BS in Sociology from Illinois State University. She has a passion for helping and supporting others. She has learned so much about the Autism community working at ASPB and has found her niche working on the administrative end of business.
